Health / Medicine project here in Ghana works with rural and urban communities in Ghana. This project aims to help small villages and town which are deprived of access to basic health care and medicine. In the major cities of Ghana such as Accra, medical care is fairly good related to that of poor rural communities.

Volunteers on the medical project in Ghana are placed in rural and urban health posts or clinics who need the assistance of volunteers where they will work closely with the local staff.

Some medical or health volunteers also have the opportunity to be placed within our orphanage and school work project where they visit the various orphanages we work with providing health care and guidance to those need through screening up exercise etc.

It is important to note that the facilities and resources on this project are extremely limited and provide a much different working environment.

Volunteers on the health / medicine program in Ghana must be qualified or have completed at least one year medical training and provide a transcript or license from their school to be provided to staff in Ghana on arrival.
